UNIVERGE SV8100 Issue 13.0IP Single Line Telephone (SIP) – NAT Mode 2 - 859IP Single Line Telephone (SIP) – NAT ModeDescriptionWith SV8100 Version 9500 (9.5) or higher software, the SV8100 supports the NAT (Network AddressTranslation) mode for Standard SIP terminals.Conditions When Program 10-33-05 NAT mode for SIP phone is set to 1 (Enable), the P2P mode forSIP Phone becomes always Off regardless of Program 10-26-03 setting. Standard SIP Video call feature which uses P2P mode cannot be established in the samesystem since the P2P mode is disabled by enabling Program 10-33-05. SIP Station – PZ-32IPLA/IPLB, PZ-64IPLA/IPLB or PZ-128IPLA/IPLB does not support aBlind Transfer feature. When connecting multiple SIP Phones via NAT, Program 15-05-18 has to be set to admitregistration of multiple SIP Phones which are using the same IP address. For example, aStandard SIP terminal that has two lines registering with the same IP Address requiresProgram 15-05-18 to be set for both extension numbers. In the router/firewall that the SV8100 resides behind port forwarding is required. Portforwarding at the SIP Terminal end is not required as long as Program 15-05-45 (Plug andPlay) is enabled. The ports that must be forwarded to the SV8100 are as follows: UDP Port 5070 MUST be forwarded to the IP Address assigned in Program 10-12-09. UDP Ports 10020 ~ 10083 (IPLA/IPLB 32), UDP Ports 10020 ~ 10147 (IPLA/IPLB 64) andUDP Ports 10020 ~ 10275 (IPLA/IPLB 128), MUST be forwarded to the IP Address(s)assigned in Program 84-26-01. With Version 9500 or higher software, when Program 15-05-45 is set to “1” the manualtable setting for port forwarding may not be required on the remote side router, but therouter must support the NAT function itself. If Program 15-05-45 is set to “0” portforwarding at the Remote side router is required. This feature requires the installation ofPZ-( ) IPLB. With Version 9500 or higher software, when uMobility client connects via NAT, Program15-05-47 must be set to 60 seconds for that extension.Default SettingNone
