In really cold conditions, icebuildup may occur on the terminal and shouldbe removed as required. To minimize this fromhappening again, it is recommended that the ventlengths that pass through unheated spaces (attics, garages, crawl spaces) be wrapped with an insulatedmylar sleeve. Gaugeshould read as described on the chart below. Checkthat main burner is operating on ‘HI’. Outlet pressurecan be checked the same as above using screw(B). Gauge should read as described on the chartbelow. Check that main burner is operating on ‘HI’.AFTER TAKING PRESSURE READINGS, BE SURETO TURN SCREWS CLOCKWISE FIRMLY TORESEAL. DO NOT OVER TORQUE.Leak test with a soap and water solution.Carbon is beingdeposited onglass, logs, rocks, mediaor combustionchambersurfaces.Air shutter has becomeblocked.- Ensure air shutter opening is free of lint or otherobstructions.Flame is impinging on theglass, logs, rocks, mediaor combustion chamber.- Check that the glass, logs, rocks, media are correctlypositioned.- Open air shutter to increase the primary air.- Check the input rate: check the manifold pressureand orifice size as specified by the rating plate.- Check that the door gasketing is not broken ormissing and that the seal is tight.- Check that both vent liners are free of holes and wellsealed at all joints.- Check that minimum rise per foot (meters) has beenadhered to for any horizontal venting.AB!
