From here you can select this addressas your destination or move around the map to find a different destination.Refer to Section 7 Setting Your Destination Straight From the Map formore information. Select SAVE. This will allow you to save the destination as a Shortcut orFavourite. Refer to Section 9/10 Programming Shortcuts/Favourites formore information.Heading to an intersectionUse the Destination option from the Main Menu to enter the intersection of two streets asyour destination.1 From the Main Menu, select DESTINATION, then INTERSECTION.2 Select COUNTRY in the Destination : Intersection screen. Use the left/right toggle buttonto cycle around the options provided.3 Select REGION. This could be any geographical region such as a city, state or county.To enter a region, choose one of the following: In the text entry screen, type in a region. Once you have finished, position thecursor on the text entry line, and press OK to confirm your selection. Alternatively use the up/down toggle button to choose from the list provided, thenpress OK to confirm your selection.4 Select TOWN. As above, type in a town or choose from the list provided.5 Select INT. OF. A list of streets in your chosen town is displayed. Type in or choose one ofyour street names from the list provided.6 Select AND. A list of streets that intersect with the first street is displayed. Type in orchoose the intersecting street name from the list provided.7 Once the unit has enough information, the details are displayed.Hint: Steps 2 and 3 areoptional, but can beuseful if your map area islarge or the street is notuniquely named.Refer to Section 6Controls and Keyboard formore information on usingthe on-screen keyboard.
