9-10 User’s Reference Guide7. Select ADD PROFILE NOW and press Return. Your new connection profile will be added. If you want to view the connection profiles in your router, return to the WAN Configuration screen, andselect Display/Change Connection Profile. The list of connection profiles is displayed in a scrolling pop-upscreen.Network Address Translation guidelinesObserve the following guidelines when using Network Address Translation. The router can export only one local IP address per UDP/TCP port, so you can have just one machineavailable for a given service, such as one FTP server. However, some services, such as Web servers(www-http servers), allow you to change the UDPTCP port on both the server and client. With two differentUDP/TCP ports exported, you can have Web servers on two different IP hosts. If you will be using multiple connection profiles, define the remote IP address of the most accessibleprofile, such as that for your ISP, to the default IP gateway in the TCP/IP settings on users’ workstations. That way, IP traffic not intended specifically for any of the remote networks will be routed through this“preferred” profile. Associate your primary Domain Name Server (DNS) with whichever profile is more accessible. If youchoose for neither profile to be “dial-on-demand,” you can associate a secondary DNS with the otherprofile. See “IP setup,” below, for more information on these settings.WAN Configuration+-Profile Name---------------------IP Address----IPX Network-++------------------------------------------------------------+| Easy Setup Profile 127.0.0.2 || Profile 02 0.0.0.0 || || || || || || || || || || || || || || |+------------------------------------------------------------+Up/Down Arrow Keys to select, ESC to dismiss, Return/Enter to Edit.
