The performance levels obtained de-pend on the parameter setting. Inappropriate set-tings may have serious consequences for personnel andmachinery.• The drive parameters must only be set by appro-priately qualified and experienced personnel.• Before powering up the drive, check that the powerconnections (mains supply and motor) are correct, andthat any moving parts are mechanically protected.• Before setting the drive parameters, all instruc-tions relating to installation and connection contained inthe installation document or the manual supplied with thedrive must have been strictly observed.• Users of the drive should take particular care toavoid starting it accidentally.2 - PARAMETER-SETTINGINTERFACE2.1 - PresentationThe interface consists of a touch screen which can be used toaccess various menus. It is supplied with its own connectioncable.Do not connect/disconnect the interface when thedrive is powered up.After a loading phase following powering-up of the drive, theparameter-setting interface displays the following screen:Ref. FunctionA Touch screenB Touch button allowing simple access to the mainmenuC «COM» LED indicating the state of communicationwith the driveOff: no communicationFlashing: communicatingD «CPU» LED indicating the state of the interface CPUE «PWR» LED indicating the state of the interfacepower supplyF Touch-sensitive buttons for language selection(can take a few minutes to load)The interface operating temperature is -10°C to +50°C.After 10 minutes without activity on the display, it returns to the«Reading mode» screen.2.2 - Interface architectureFrom the welcome screen, press the touch-sensitive key B asindicated below to access the main page of the parameter-setting interface, consisting of 5 touch-sensitive buttons:- Informations: Can be used to obtain Informations veryquickly about the drive, the fieldbus option, the parameter-setting interface, and also provides access to the languageselection.- Reading mode: Is used to display the status of the drivewhen stopped or during operation, as well as its mainmeasurement points.- Setting: Used for reading and/or modification of all the driveparameters, saving parameters, as well as to set the dateand time on the display.- Keypad control: Gives direct access to motor control viathe touch screen (Run/Stop, direction of rotation, speedreference). These screen parameters can be set using theSetting/ Keypad Control setup via the keypad menu. keypadcontrol is disabled in factory-set configuration.- Trip history: Gives a quick overview of the last 10 drivetrips.- : This button is accessible on all screens in factory-setconfiguration and is used to give a stop command orreset a trip. To disable it, see section 2.2.3.4.At any time and regardless of the screen displayed, thebutton can be used to return to previous pages, as far asthe interface main page.CABFD E
