The camera may move when the shutter isreleased, blurring photographs.The shutter-release button can be used to focus and take pictures evenwhen the 3 icon is displayed to show that tap shooting options areactive. Use the shutter-release button to take photographs in continu-ous shooting mode (0 97) and during movie recording. Tap shootingoptions can be used only to take pictures one at a time in continuousshooting mode and can not be used to take photographs duringmovie recording. In self-timer mode (0 99), tapping the monitor locksfocus and starts the timer; the photograph will be taken after ten ortwo seconds.
