87The Setup MenuDate ImprintImprint date information on pictures as they are taken.Option DescriptionOff Time and date do not appear on pictures.Date Date or date and time are imprinted on pictures taken while this op-tion is in effect.Date and timeDate counter Time stamp shows number of days between date of shooting and se-lected date (see below).At settings other than Off , the option selected is indicated by an icon in the moni-tor during shooting ( 6–7).Date CounterPictures taken while this option is in effect are imprinted withthe number of days remaining until or the number of dayselapsed since a specified date. Use it to track the growth of achild or count down the days until a birthday or wedding.StoreddatesUp to three dates can be stored.
