See "Continuous Shooting(Options)" (A55) for more information.ISO SensitivityThe higher the ISO sensitivity, the less light needed for taking pictures.The higher the ISO sensitivity, the darker the subject that can be shot. Additionally,even with subjects of similar brightness, pictures can be taken at faster shutter speeds,and blurring caused by camera shake and subject movement can be reduced.• Setting the ISO sensitivity to a high level is effective when shooting darksubjects, not using the flash, shooting at the telephoto zoom position andsimilar situations, but the pictures taken may be slightly grainy.The icon for the current setting is displayed on the monitor during shooting (A6).• When Auto is selected, the E icon is not displayed at ISO 125, but is displayedif the ISO sensitivity automatically increases to more than ISO 125 (A26).• When Fixed range auto is selected, the U icon and the maximum ISOsensitivity value are displayed.B Note on ISO SensitivityThis feature may not be used in combination with certain features. Thecamera does not raise sensitivity beyond the maximum value in theselected range.Set the maximum value for ISO sensitivity to control "grain" that appearsin images.125, 200, 400,800, 1600, 3200 ISO sensitivity is locked at the specified value.
