Setthe options in the auto shooting menu (A36)according to the shooting conditions and the kind ofimages you want to capture.• The focus area differs depending on the setting ofAF area mode (A37) that can be selected in theA tab after pressing the d button.• When AF area mode is set to Face priority (default setting), the camerafocuses as follows:- The camera detects and focuses on faces (see “Using Face Detection” (A75)for more information).- If no faces are detected, the camera automatically selects the focus areas (upto nine) containing the subject closest to the camera.
