70 Settings : Sound Recording OptionsMODE 1Choose MODE 1 to create photographs which incorporate an audioclip. When the camera is in Mode 1, pressing the shutter-release button tomake a photograph simultaneously causes the camera to turn on themicrophone and record an audio clip of fixed duration; the recording andphotograph will subsequently appear together as a single item in the slide-show preview and playback lists. The length of the audio clip isdetermined when Mode 1 is chosen as the recording method. SelectingMODE 1 from the sound-mode menu brings up the following window.Set the recording time using the arrow keys. Pressing increases therecording time in increments of one second, while pressing increasesit by five seconds. Pressing either of these keys after the maximum valueis reached returns the value to one. Pressing will decrease therecording time by five seconds, while pressing decreases therecording time one second each time the key is pressed. Pressing either ofthese keys after the minimum value of one second has been reached returnsthe recording time to its maximum value.Once you have set the recording time, touch the MENU key to return tomain menu or the ENTER key to return to the previous menu.
