230QPrinting PhotographsPhotographs can be printed by any of the following methods:• Connect the camera to a printer and print JPEG photographsdirectly from the camera (pg. 231).• Insert the camera memory card in a printer equipped with a cardslot (see the printer manual for details). If the printer supportsDPOF (pg. 416), photographs can be selected for printing using[Print set (DPOF)] (pg. 240).• Take the camera memory card to a developer or digital printercenter. If the center supports DPOF (pg. 416), photographs canbe selected for printing using [Print set (DPOF)] (pg. 240).• Print JPEG photographs on a printer connected to a networkcomputer using the WT-4 wireless transmitter (availableseparately; see the WT-4 user’s manual for details).• Transfer pictures (pg. 224) and print them from a computer usingViewNX version 1.2.0 or later or other compatible software suchas Capture NX version 1.3.5 or later or Capture NX 2 version 2.1.0or later (available separately; pg. 368). Note that this is the onlymethod available for printing RAW (NEF) pictures.A TIFF PhotographsTIFF photographs can be printed from a computer. Some digital printservices may also support TIFF; check with the service before ordering.
