300U❚❚ Auto FP High-Speed SyncWhen 1/320 s (Auto FP) or 1/250 s (Auto FP) is selected forCustom Setting e1 (Flash sync speed, 0 299), the built-in flash canbe used at shutter speeds as fast as 1 / 320 s or 1 / 250 s, whilecompatible optional flash units (0 382) can be used at any shutterspeed (Auto FP High-Speed Sync).This option determines the slowest shutterspeed available when using front- or rear-curtain sync or red-eye reduction inprogrammed auto or aperture-priority autoexposure modes (regardless of the settingchosen, shutter speeds can be as slow as 30 sin shutter-priority auto and manual exposure modes or at flashsettings of slow sync, slow rear-curtain sync, or red-eye reductionwith slow sync).
