Side broom control leverControls and leversThe control levers are used for the following functions:– Side broom lifting;– Hopper lowering;– Hopper lifting;– Side broom lowering;– Skirt opening;– Skirt closing;– Main broom lowering;– Main broom lifting.INSTRUCTIONS FOR USEStart (SR 1800C D)– Before starting the machine, make sure the parkingbrake (5, Fig. I) is engaged.– Insert the ignition key in the ignition switch.– Turn the accelerator lever (4, Fig. I) to idle.– Turn the ignition key clockwise to the first position.Battery charge and oil pressure warning lights should beon.– The glow-plug pre-heating warning light goes off: Turnthe ignition key clockwise until the end of stroke. Whenthe motor is on, release the ignition key which willautomatically return to the first position.NOTEMachines with the EC marking are providedwith safety devices should the operator leavethe driver’s seat.The machine cannot be started unless theoperator is sitting in position.NOTEBefore trying to start the machine again, turnthe ignition key back to “0” position.As soon as the machine has been started,check the battery charge, oil pressure andpre-heating warning lights are off.
