If noposition was saved from the last session, the Mapsapplication zooms in to the capital city of the country youare in, based on the information the device receives fromthe cellular network. At the same time, the map of thelocation is downloaded, if it has not been downloadedduring previous sessions.Your current locationTo establish a GPS connection and zoom in to your currentlocation, select Options > My position, or press . If thepower saver turns on while the device is attempting toestablish a GPS connection, the attempt is interrupted.A GPS indicator is shown on the display. Onebar is one satellite. When the device tries to find a satellite,the bar is yellow. When the device receives enough datafrom the satellite to establish a GPS connection, the barturns green. The more green bars, the stronger theconnection.When the GPS connection is active, your current locationis indicated on the map withMove and zoomTo move on the map, scrollup, down, left, or right. Themap is oriented towardsnorth by default. The compassrose displays the orientationof the map and rotates duringnavigation when theorientation changes.When you browse the map onthe display, a new map isautomatically downloaded ifyou scroll to an area which is not covered by maps alreadydownloaded.
