Traffic informationThe real-time traffic information service providesinformation about traffic events that may affect yourtravel. The traffic information service is an extra servicethat you can purchase and download into your device, ifavailable in your country or region.To purchase a licence for the traffic information service,select Options > Extras > Traffic info.To view information about traffic events, select Options >Traffic info. The events are shown on the map as trianglesand lines.To view the details of an event, including possiblererouting options, select the event and Options >Open.To update the traffic information, select Update trafficinfo.Travel guidesTravel guides provide information about attractions,restaurants, hotels, and other points of interest. Someguides contain videos and audio clips. The guides must bepurchased and downloaded before use.Downloading travel guides may involve the transmissionof large amounts of data through your service provider’snetwork. Contact your service provider for informationabout data transmission charges.To purchase and download travel guides, or to viewdownloaded ones, select Options > Extras > Guides.To browse travel guide categories, select a category, andpress the scroll key. If there are subcategories, select asubcategory, and press the scroll key again.To download a new guide to your device, scroll to thedesired guide, and select Yes. You can pay for the guidesthrough a credit card or in your phone bill, if supported byyour service provider.GPS dataSelect Menu > GPS > GPS data.With GPS data, you can view your current location, findyour way to a desired location, and track distance.Select Navigation to view navigating information to yourtrip destination, Position to view positioning informationabout your current location, or Trip dist. to view yourtravelling information such as the distance and durationyou have travelled, and your average and maximumspeeds.The application must receive positioning informationfrom at least four satellites to be used as a travelling aid.The trip meter has limited accuracy, and rounding errorsmay occur. Accuracy can also be affected by availabilityand quality of GPS signals.Use GPS dataTo check the signal strength of the satellites that providethe positioning information necessary for navigation,open any of the three views and select Options >Satellite status.68 Travelling
