See “Batteryinformation” on page 69.1 Position thebattery so thegold-coloredcontacts matchup with those onthe device.The battery labelmust face awayfrom the device.2 Insert the battery,gold-coloredcontact end first, into the battery slot.3 Push down on the other end of the battery to snap thebattery into place.Replace the back coverSlide the back cover toward the top of the device until youhear a click and see the back cover release button.Charge the battery1 Plug the charger transformer into a standard AC outlet.2 Insert thechargeroutput pluginto theround jackat thebottom endof thedevice.After a fewseconds, thebattery indicator in the display starts to scroll frombottom to top. If the battery is completely discharged,it may take a few minutes before the chargingindicator appears on the display or any calls can bemade. |
