All rights reserved.Set up voice mail with dialing codes1 In the standby mode, select Contacts > speed dialling.2 Scroll to an empty speed dialling slot, and selectAssign.3 Enter your voice mailbox number, including the areacode.4 Refer to dialing codes, and enter codes as necessaryusing the information that you saved from “Voicemailbox number and process” on page 37.For example, if you pause for 5 seconds afterconnecting to voice mail, enter p twice after the voicemailbox number (for example, 2145551212pp).5 Enter any remaining pauses or other information thatallows you to listen to your messages, and select OK.6 Enter a name (such as voice mail), and select OK.To dial and listen to your voice mail, press and hold theassigned speed dialling key in the standby mode.Picture messagesPicture messaging is a network service. If your wirelessservice provider supports this feature, your device comeswith five preloaded pictures. You can, however, over-writeany of the five pictures that come with your device.Pictures can be attached to a message and sent using textmessaging to compatible devices or PCs. Picture messagesbehave the same as text messages, but pictures take upmore space than text. Pictures are stored in the templatesfolder at Menu > Messages >Text messages > Templates.Note: Picture message function can be used only if it issupported by your network operator or service provider.Only devices that offer picture message features canreceive and display picture messages.Copyright protections may prevent some images, ringingtones, and other content from being copied, modified,transferred, or forwarded.Write and sendWhen a picture is added to a text message, the messageconverts to picture message. The message counter in theupper right of your display shows the characters availablefor you to type in.1 In the standby mode, select Menu > Messages > Textmessages > Create message. Depending on yourwireless provider, you may also select Text; then, selectEdit message.2 Write a message using the keypad (or enter nothing ifyou choose to just send a picture), and select Options> Insert picture.3 Scroll down through the pictures, and select View.4 Select Insert to insert the picture into your message;otherwise select Back, scroll to another picture, andselect View again.
