If the insertedpicture exceeds this limit, the devicemay make it smaller so that it can besent by multimedia messaging.It takes more time to send amultimedia message than to send atext message. While the multimediamessage is being sent, the animatedindicator is displayed and youcan use other functions on the phone.If there is an interruption while themessage is being sent, the phoneautomatically tries to resend it a fewtimes. If this fails, the message remainsin the Outbox and you can try tomanually resend it later. Check yourOutbox for unsent messages.Note: When sendingmessages, your device maydisplay the words Multimediamessage sent. This is anindication that the messagehas been sent by your deviceto the message center numberprogrammed into your device.This is not an indication thatthe message has beenreceived at the intendeddestination. For more detailsabout messaging services,check with your serviceprovider.Messages that you send are saved inSent items if the setting Save sentmessages is set to Yes.See “Multimedia message settings”,p. 25. This is not an indication that themessage has been received at theintended destination.Read and reply tomultimedia messagesWhen a multimedia message isreceived, appears in the displayalong with the percentage displayindicating the download progress.Once the message has been fullydownloaded, and a notificationappears in the display.1. To view the multimedia messageimmediately, select Show.To save the message to the inboxfor later viewing, select Exit.To view a saved message, selectMenu > Messaging > Multimediamsgs. > Inbox and the message youwant to view.While viewing a message, selectPlay to play the entire message2. Select Reply or Options > Reply toall, and compose your reply.3. Select Send.If blinks and Multimediamemory full. View waiting message.appears, the memory for multimediamessages is full.
