Writing textYou can enter text, for example, when writing messages, using traditional orpredictive text input.■ Using traditional text inputThe indicator is shown on the top right of the display when you are writingtext using traditional text input.• Press a number key (1 - 9), repeatedly until the desired character appears. Notethat there are more characters available for a number key than are printed onthe key.• To insert a number, press and hold the number key.To switch between letter and number mode, press and hold the # key.• If the next letter is located on the same key as the present one, wait until thecursor appears (or move the joystick to the right to end the time-out period),and then enter the letter.• To insert a space, press the key 0. To move the cursor to the next line, press thekey 0 three times.• To switch between upper and lower case, press the # key.
