Find helpIn-device helpYour device contains instructions to help to use theapplications in your device.To open help texts from the main menu, select Menu >Help and the application for which you want to readinstructions.When an application is open, to access the help text for thecurrent view, select Options > Help.When you are reading the instructions, to change the size ofthe help text, select Options > Decrease font size orIncrease font size.You can find links to related topics at the end of the help text.If you select an underlined word, a short explanation isdisplayed. Help texts use the following indicators: showsa link to a related help topic. shows a link to theapplication being discussed.When you are reading the instructions, to switch betweenhelp texts and the application that is open in the background,press and hold the menu key, and select from the list of openapplications.Software updatesNokia may produce software updates that offer new features,enhanced functions, and improved performance. You may beable to request these updates through the Nokia SoftwareUpdater PC application. Software updates may not beavailable for all products or their variants. Not all operatorsmay endorse the latest software versions available.To update the device software, you need the Nokia SoftwareUpdater application and a compatible PC with the MicrosoftWindows 2000, XP, or Vista operating system, broadbandinternet access, and a compatible data cable to connect yourdevice to the PC.Warning: If you install a software update, you cannotuse the device, even to make emergency calls, until theinstallation is completed and the device is restarted. Be sureto back up data before accepting installation of an update.To get more information and to download the NokiaSoftware Updater application, visit www.nokia-asia.com/softwareupdate or your local Nokia website.If software updates over the air are supported by yournetwork, you may also be able to request updates throughthe device.Downloading software updates may involve the transmissionof large amounts of data through your service provider'snetwork.
