If themessage is too large, the phone maynot be able to receive it.Some networks allow text messagesthat include an Internet address whereyou can view the multimedia message.To set the settings for multimediamessaging, see “Multimedia”, p. 26.To check availability and to subscribeto the multimedia messaging service,contact your service provider.You cannot receive multimediamessages during a call, a game,another Java application, or an activebrowsing session over GSM data.Because delivery of multimediamessages can fail for various reasons,do not rely solely upon them foressential communications.Write and send a MMS1. Select Menu > Messaging >Create message > Multimedia.2. To compose your message, selectan input window, Insert, and fromthe following options.Text — to write a textImage, Sound clip or Video clip —to insert a file from Gallery, or totake a new image or to record anew video or sound clip to beadded to the messageBusiness card — to insert a contactfrom NamesCalendar note — to insert a notefrom CalendarSlide — to insert a slide to themessage. Your phone supportsmultimedia messages that containseveral pages (slides). Each slidecan contain text, one image,a calendar note, a business card,and one sound clip. To open adesired slide if the messagecontains several slides, selectOptions > Previous slide or Nextslide. To set the interval betweenthe slides, select Options > Slidetiming. To move a slide componentwithin the message, select Options> Move slide.3. To send the message, select Send.Enter the recipient’s phone numberin the input field To:, or select Addto select the phone number fromvarious lists. Optionally enter a textin the input field Subject:. Selectthe field Presentation: and Edit toadd or remove multimedia objects.Select Send to move the messageto the Outbox folder for sending.
