Always acceptonly Bluetooth communication fromothers with whom you agree.InfraredYou can set up the phone to send andreceive data through its infrared (IR)port. To use an IR connection,the device with which you want toestablish a connection must be IrDAcompliant. You can send or receivedata to or from a compatible phone ordata device (for example, a computer)through the IR port of your phone.Do not point the IR (infrared) beam atanyone's eyes or allow it to interferewith other IR devices. Infrared devicesare Class 1 laser products.When sending or receiving data,ensure that the IR ports of the sendingand receiving devices are pointing ateach other and that there are noobstructions between the devices.To activate the IR port of your phone toreceive data using IR, select Menu >Settings > Connectivity > Infrared.To deactivate the IR connection, selectMenu > Settings > Connectivity >Infrared. When the phone displaysDeactivate infrared?, select Yes.If data transfer is not started within 2minutes after the activation of the IRport, the connection is cancelled andmust be started again.
