The suggestionsbelow will help you protect yourwarranty coverage.• Keep the device dry. Precipitation,humidity, and all types of liquids ormoisture can contain minerals thatwill corrode electronic circuits.If your device does get wet,remove the battery, and allow thedevice to dry completely beforereplacing it.• Do not attempt to remove thebattery from the device. Nokiarecommends that you take thedevice to the nearest authorisedservice facility for replacement ofthe battery.• Do not use or store the device industy, dirty areas. Its moving partsand electronic components can bedamaged.• Do not store the device in hotareas. High temperatures canshorten the life of electronicdevices, damage batteries, andwarp or melt certain plastics.• Do not store the device in coldareas. When the device returns toits normal temperature,moisture can form inside thedevice and damage electroniccircuit boards.• Do not attempt to open the deviceother than as instructed in thisguide.• Do not drop, knock, or shake thedevice. Rough handling can breakinternal circuit boards and finemechanics.• Do not use harsh chemicals,cleaning solvents, or strongdetergents to clean the device.• Do not paint the device. Paint canclog the moving parts and preventproper operation.• Use a soft, clean, dry cloth to cleanany lenses, such as camera,proximity sensor, and light sensorlenses.• Use only the supplied or anapproved replacement antenna.Unauthorised antennas,modifications, or attachmentscould damage the device and mayviolate regulations governing radiodevices.• Use chargers indoors.• Always create a backup of data youwant to keep, such as contacts andcalendar notes, before sendingyour device to a service facility.All of the above suggestions applyequally to your device, battery,charger, or any enhancement. If anydevice is not working properly, take itto the nearest authorised servicefacility for service.
