Key in andsend service requests (also known asUSSD commands), such as activationcommands for network services, toyour service provider.Message settingsThe message settings affect thesending of messages.Press Menu, select Messages andMessage settings.If more than one message profile setis supported by your SIM card, selectthe set you want to change.Select Message centre number tosave the phone number of themessage centre. You need themessage centre number to send textand picture messages. You receivethe number from your serviceprovider. Select Messages sent asto select the message format, orMessage validity. Select Defaultrecipient number to save a defaultnumber to send messages for thismessage profile, Delivery reports torequest the network to send deliveryreports on your messages (networkservice), and Use GPRS to set GPRSas the preferred SMS bearer. SelectReply via same centre to allow therecipient of your message to sendyou a reply via your message centre(network service), and Renamesending profile to change the nameof the selected message profile. Themessage profile sets are displayedonly if your SIM card supports morethan one set.■ Call register(Menu 2)The phone registersthe phone numbers of missed,received and dialled calls, and theapproximate length and cost of yourcalls.The phone registers missed andreceived calls only if the networksupports these functions, the phoneis switched on and within thenetwork’s service area.
