General information■ Stickers in the salespackageThe stickers contain importantinformation for service andcustomer support purposes.■ Access codes• Security code (5-10 digits): Thesecurity code protects yourphone against unauthorised use,and is supplied with the phone.The preset code is 12345. Changethe code in the Settings menu,see ”Security settings” on page34. Keep the new code secret andin a safe place separate from yourphone.Set the phone to request thecode, see ”Security settings” onpage 34.• PIN code (4 to 8 digits): The PIN(Personal Identification Number)code protects your SIM cardagainst unauthorised use. ThePIN code is usually supplied withthe SIM card.Set the phone to request the PINcode each time the phone isswitched on, see ”Securitysettings” on page 34.• PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits): ThePIN2 code may be supplied withthe SIM card and is required toaccess some functions, such ascharging unit counters.• PUK and PUK2 codes (8 digits):The PUK (Personal UnblockingKey) code is required to change ablocked PIN code. The PUK2 codeis required to change a blockedPIN2 code.If the codes are not supplied withthe SIM card, contact your localservice provider for the codes.• Barring password: The barringpassword is needed when usingthe Call barring service, see”Security settings” on page 34.The password is obtained fromyour service provider.• Wallet code (4-10 digits): Thewallet code is needed to accessthe wallet services.
