See also see PC Connectivity on page 147.To define the settings for GPRS connections from your PC: In the GPRS menu,select GPRS modem settings and Active access point or Edit active access point.Select• Active access point to activate an access point. Scroll to the access point youwant to use and press Activate. The access point is a server that your phonecontacts for an Internet connection.• Edit active access point to change the access point settings. Select• Alias for access point to create a nickname for the active access point. Keyin the name and press OK.• GPRS access point to define the access point name that is needed for GPRSconnections. Key in the access point name and press OK. Contact yournetwork operator or service provider for the access point name.If the access point name is set both in the phone and in the Nokia Modem Optionssoftware on your PC, the name defined in the Nokia Modem Options will be used.
