Transitions are visualeffects that you can add in the beginning and end of thevideo or between the video clips.Edit video, sound, and transitions1 Mark and select one or more video clips.2 Select Options > Edit. In the edit video view, you caninsert video clips to create a custom video clip, andthen edit the clips by trimming and adding effects.You can add sound clips and change their length.Scroll up or down to move between the video clip andthe sound clip.Tip! To take a snapshot of a video clip, selectOptions > Take snapshot in the play view, editpreview view, or in the cut view.To modify the video, select one of the following options:Preview—Previews the custom video clip.Cut—Trims the video clip or a sound clip in the cut videoclip or in the cut sound clip view.Insert—Inserts a video clip, sound clip, or new sound clip.• Video clip—Inserts the selected video clip. A thumbnailof the video clip is shown in the main view. Athumbnail consists of the first non-black view of thevideo clip. The name and length of the selected videoclip is also shown.• Sound clip—Inserts the selected sound clip. The nameand length of the selected sound clip is shown in themain view.• New sound clip—Records a new sound clip to theselected location.Edit video clip—Opens a list of editing options.• Move—Moves the video clip to the selected location.• Add color effect—Inserts a color effect on thevideo clip.• Use slow motion—Slows the speed of the video clip.• Mute sound or Unmute sound—Mutes or unmutesthe original video clip sound.
