Whenthe keypad is locked, this icon appears on top of the display. With Securitykeyguard on and activated, the keys are still locked even when you open the flip.1 Press Menu, then select Settings, Phone settings, and Security keyguard.2 Key in the security code and press OK. The Security keyguard code is the sameas your security code. (See “Security settings” on page 70.)Note: You should replace the default security code with a new code as soonas possible.3 Select On.Use Security Keyguard with Flip closed• To activate, press Menu and s.• To deactivate, press Unlock and s, enter the security code, and press OK.Use Security Keyguard with Flip open• To activate, press Menu, j, * .• To deactivate, press Unlock, OK, enter the security code, and press OK.Important: You can still call 911, even with Security Keyguard activated.This feature lets you lock your phone with a security code. Select Onto set the phone to indicate when it is used in a cellular network based onmicrocellular network (MCN) technology.If the GPRS connection is set to Always online, the cell identity may not bereceived.
