The exact charger modelnumber may vary depending on the typeof plug. The plug variant is identified byone of the following: E, EB, X, AR, U, A, C,or UB.The battery can be charged anddischarged hundreds of times, but it willeventually wear out. When the talk andstandby times are noticeably shorterthan normal, replace the battery. Useonly Nokia approved batteries, andrecharge your battery only with Nokiaapproved chargers designated for thisdevice. Use of an unapproved battery orcharger may present a risk of fire,explosion, leakage, or other hazard.If a battery is being used for the firsttime or if the battery has not been usedfor a prolonged period, it may benecessary to connect the charger, thendisconnect and reconnect it to begincharging the battery.
