ContactsYou can save names and phonenumbers (Contacts) in the phonememory and in the SIM card memory.The phone memory may savecontacts with numbers and textitems. You can also save an imagefor a certain number of names.Names and numbers saved in theSIM card memory are indicatedby .■ Search for a contactSelect Menu > Contacts > Search.Scroll through the list of contacts,or enter the first letter of the namefor which you are searching.■ Save names and phonenumbersNames and numbers are saved inthe used memory. Select Menu >Contacts > Add new contact. Enterthe name and the phone number.■ Save numbers, items,or an imageIn the phone memory for contacts,you can save different types of phonenumbers and short text items pername.The first number you save isautomatically set as the defaultnumber. It is indicated with aframe around the number typeindicator (for example, ).When you select a name (for example,to make a call), the default number isused unless you select another number.1. Make sure that the memory in useis either Phone or Phone and SIM.2. Scroll to the name to which youwant to add a new number or textitem, and select Details >Options.3. To add a number, select Addnumber and one of the numbertypes.To set the selected number as thedefault number, select Set as default.To change the number type, scrollto the desired number, and selectOptions > Change type.To add a detail, select Add detailand a detail type.To add a image, select Add imageand an image from Gallery.To search for an ID from the serverof your service provider if you haveconnected to the presence service,select Add detail >User ID > Search.See ”My presence” p. 28. If only oneID is found, it is automatically saved.Otherwise, to save the ID, selectOptions > Save. To enter the ID,select Enter ID manually.
