Any spoken words,such as a name, can be a voice tag.The number of voice tags you cancreate is limited.Before using voice tags, note thefollowing:• Voice tags are not language-dependent. They are dependenton the speaker's voice.• You must say the name exactly asyou said it when you recorded it.• Voice tags are sensitive tobackground noise. Record voicetags, and use them in a quietenvironment.• Very short names are notaccepted. Use long names, andavoid similar names for differentnumbers.Note: Using voice tags maybe difficult in a noisyenvironment or during anemergency, so you shouldnot rely solely upon voicedialing in all circumstances.Add and manage voice tagsSave or copy the contacts to thephone memory for which you wantto add a voice tag. You can also addvoice tags to the names in the SIMcard, but if you replace your SIMcard with a new one, you must firstdelete the old voice tags before youcan add new ones.1. Search for the contact to whichyou want to add a voice tag.2. Select Details, scroll to thedesired phone number, and selectOptions > Add voice tag.3. Select Start, and say clearlythe words you want to recordas a voice tag. After recording,the phone plays the recorded tag.appears behind the phonenumber with a voice tag inContacts.To check the voice tags, selectMenu > Contacts > Voice tags.Scroll to the contact with the voicetag that you want, and select anoption to listen to, delete, or changethe recorded voice tag.Make a call with a voice tagIf the phone has an applicationrunning that is sending or receivingdata using a GPRS connection, youmust end the application beforevoice dialing.1. In the standby mode, pressand hold the volume down key.A short tone is heard, andSpeak now is displayed.2. Say the voice tag clearly. Thephone plays the recognized voicetag and dials the phone numberof the voice tag after 1.5 seconds.
