Note that gallery files share adifferent memory; for furtherinformation see "Gallery" on page34.■ Access codes• Security code (5 to 10 digits):The security code helps to protectyour phone against unauthoriseduse. The code is supplied withyour phone. The preset code is12345. To change the code and toset the phone to request it, see"Security settings" on page 33.• PIN code (4 to 8 digits): The PIN(Personal Identification Number)code helps to protect the SIMcard against unauthorised use. Itmay be supplied with the SIMcard. If you activate the PIN coderequest function in the Securitysettings menu, the code isrequested each time the phone isswitched on.• PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits): Thiscode may be supplied with theSIM card and is required toaccess some functions, such ascall counters.• PUK and PUK2 codes (8 digits):The PUK (Personal UnblockingKey) code is required to change ablocked PIN code. The PUK2 codeis required to change a blockedPIN2 code.• Barring password (4 digits): Thiscode is required when using theCall barring service function inthe Security settings menu.• Module PIN and signing PIN:The module PIN is required toaccess the information in thesecurity module (see page 45).The signing PIN is required for thedigital signature (see page 47).■ Network servicesTo use the phone you must have aservice from a wireless serviceprovider. Many of the features in thisdevice depend on features in thewireless network to function. Thesenetwork services may not beavailable on all networks or you mayhave to make specific arrangementswith your service provider before youcan utilise network services. Yourservice provider may need to giveyou additional instructions for theiruse and explain what charges willapply. Some networks may havelimitations that affect how you canuse network services.
