Do not switch the device on whenwireless device use may cause interference or danger.Shared memoryThe following features in this device may share memory: contacts, messages, voicecommands and SMS distribution lists, calendar and to-do notes. Use of one or moreof these features may reduce the memory available for the remaining featuressharing memory. For example, saving many multimedia messages may use all of theavailable memory. Your device may display a message that the memory is full whenyou try to use a shared memory feature. In this case, delete some of the informationor entries stored in the shared memory features before continuing. Some of thefeatures, such as images, gallery tones, and text messages may have a certain amountof memory allotted to them in addition to the memory shared with other features.Gallery files share a different memory. For further information, see "Gallery," p. 39.■ Access codes• Security code (5–10 digits): The security code helps to protect your phoneagainst unauthorized use. The code is supplied with your phone. The presetcode is 12345. To change the code and to set the phone to request it, see"Security," p. 38.• PIN code (4–8 digits): The PIN (personal identification number) code helpsto protect the SIM card against unauthorized use. It may be supplied with theSIM card. If you activate the PIN code request function in the Securitysettings menu, the code is requested each time the phone is switched on.• PIN2 code (4–8 digits): This code may be supplied with the SIM card and isrequired to access some functions, such as call counters.
