The sales package also includes instructions onhow you should use these stickers.Access codesExplanations for the different security codes that may beneeded:• Lock code (5 to 10 digits): The lock code protects yoursmartphone against unauthorised use, and is suppliedwith the smartphone. The preset code is 12345.Change the code, and keep the new code secret and ina safe place separate from your smartphone.• PIN code and PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits): The PIN(Personal Identification Number) code protects yourSIM card against unauthorised use. The PIN code isusually supplied with the SIM card. After threeconsecutive incorrect PIN code entries, the PIN code is• PUK and PUK2 codes (8 digits): The PUK (PersonalUnblocking Key) code is required to change a blockedPIN code. The PUK2 code is required to change ablocked PIN2 code. If the codes are not supplied withthe SIM card, contact the operator whose SIM card isin your smartphone.• Barring password (4 digits): The barring password isneeded when using the Call barring service. You canobtain the password from your service provider.The Internet applications of the smartphone usepasswords and user names to protect againstunauthorised use of the Internet and its services. Thesepasswords are changed in the settings of the Internetapplications.Memory managementMany features of the smartphone consume memory asthey store data.
