9-2 Day viewDay viewActivate the Day view by pressing Open in theMonth view. The daily events list displays theevents of the selected day. The first event of theday is always shown when the list opens. Thecontents of event entries are freely editable.In the Day view, attached alarms are indicated by, bookings by , memos by , repeatingevents (daily, weekly and monthly) by , and an-nual events by . The symbol appears next tothe event’s name (see figure 9-2). For each event,only the symbol with the highest priority isshown (the symbols will appear in the order list-ed above).To add events, move the selection frame over thestarting time of the event. Type the event on thedotted line.To delete events, select the event and press De-lete. If you delete (or edit) repeating events, youwill be asked if you want to apply the changes toall or only to the current event.To adjust the details of the selected event, pressDetails. A new view opens, allowing you to adjustthe following details:Date — The date of the event. The default dateis that of the selected day.Start — The time when the event starts. Thedefault start time is the selected time row inthe daily events’ list.Finish — The time when the event ends (op-tional). If you set a finish time, it has to belater than the start time.Alarm — You can set an alarm for the selectedevent. See "Alarms".Frequency — The event type option lets youdefine how often the event repeats. The eventtype options are Once only (default) /Daily /Weekly /Monthly /Annual.When the Select day command button is pressedin the Day view, a new set of command buttonsis shown:To view the next or previous day’s view, or toreturn to today’s view, press Next day, Previ-ous day or Today.To return the Day view commands, pressBack.MemosTo attach memos to an event: Move the selection frame over the correctevent and press Details in the Day view. Press Memo to open the note editor.
