These pages usethe extensible hypertext markup language (XHTML) orhypertext markup language (HTML). If you want tobrowse WAP pages, use Menu > Media > Services.Check the availability of services, pricing, and fees withyour network operator or service provider. Serviceproviders will also give you instructions on how to usetheir services.Access pointsTo browse the Web, you need to configure Internet accesspoint settings. If you are using a data call or a GPRSconnection, your wireless network must support datacalls or GPRS, and the data service must be activated foryour SIM card. Your device might have configured theInternet access point settings automatically based onyour SIM card. If not, contact your service provider for thecorrect settings.Tip: You may receive the Internet access pointsettings from your service provider as a specialtext message or from the network operator's orservice provider's Web pages.You can also enter the Internet access point settingsmanually. See "Internet access points," p. 73.Browse the WebUse the joystick for browsing. The joystick is shown as apointer on a Web page, and you can scroll the pages up,down, left and right with it. When you move the pointerover a link, the pointer changes into a hand. Press thejoystick to open the link.To browse the Web, select a bookmark, and press thejoystick. You can also enter the Web address, and pressthe joystick. Use only services that you trust and that offeradequate security and protection against harmfulsoftware.Tip: When you start to enter the address,addresses of pages you have previously visitedthat match your input are displayed. To open apage, scroll to the address, and press the joystick.To open a Web link, scroll to it and press the joystick. Ona Web page, new links appear underlined in blue andpreviously visited links in purple.
