The necessary steps for data transfer may varydepending on your device, and whether you haveinterrupted data transfer earlier. The items that youcan transfer vary depending on the other device.Transfer content betweendevicesTo connect the two devices, follow the instructions onthe display. For some device models, the Switchapplication is sent to the other device as a message. Toinstall Switch on the other device, open the message,and follow the instructions on the display. On your newEseries device, select the content you want to copyfrom the other device.After the data transfer, you can save the shortcut withthe transfer settings to the main view to repeat thesame transfer later. To edit the shortcut, selectOptions > Shortcut settings.View transfer logA transfer log is shown after every transfer.To view the transfer details, scroll to the transferreditem in the log, and select Options > Details.To view the log of a previous transfer, scroll to atransfer shortcut, if available, in the main view, andselect Options > View log.Any unresolved transfer conflicts are also displayed inthe log view. To start solving conflicts, selectOptions > Solve conflicts.Synchronise, retrieve, andsend dataIf you have previously transferred data to your devicewith the Switch application, select from the followingicons in the Switch main view:Synchronise data with a compatible device if theother device supports synchronisation.
