Service Center and UpgradesChapter 21: Troubleshooting 475I am using the IP60 appliance behind another NAT device, and I am having problems with some applications. What should I do?By default, the IP60 appliance performs Network Address Translation (NAT). It is possible to use the IP60appliance behind another device that performs NAT, such as a DSL router or Wireless router, but thedevice will block all incoming connections from reaching your IP60 appliance. To fix this problem, do ONE of the following. (The solutions are listed in order of preference.)Consider whether you really need the router. The IP60 appliance can be used as a replacement foryour router, unless you need it for some additional functionality that it provides. If possible, disable NAT in the router. Refer to the router’s documentation for instructions onhow to do this.If the router has a ―DMZ Computer‖ or ―Exposed Host‖ option, set it to the IP60 appliance’sexternal IP address.Open the following ports in the NAT device:UDP 9281/9282UDP 500UDP 2746TCP 256TCP 264ESP IP protocol 50TCP 981I cannot receive audio or video calls through the IP60 appliance. What should I do?To enable audio/video, you must configure an IP Telephony (H.323) virtual server. For instructions, seeConfiguring Servers on page 236.I run a public Web server at home but it cannot be accessed from the Internet. What should I do?Configure a virtual Web Server. For instructions, see Configuring Servers on page 236.I cannot connect to the LAN network from the DMZ or primary WLAN network. What should I do?By default, connections from the DMZ or primary WLAN network to the LAN network are blocked. Toallow traffic from the DMZ or primary WLAN to the LAN, configure appropriate firewall rules. Forinstructions, see Using Rules on page 238.Service Center and UpgradesI have exceeded my node limit. What does this mean? What should I do?Your Product Key specifies a maximum number of nodes that you may connect to the IP60 appliance. The IP60 appliance tracks the cumulative number of nodes on the internal network that have communicatedthrough the firewall. When the IP60 appliance encounters an IP address that exceeds the licensed nodelimit, the My Computers page displays a warning message and marks nodes over the node limit in red. These nodes will not be able to access the Internet through the IP60 appliance, but will be protected. TheEvent Log page also warns you that you have exceeded the node limit.
