All rights reserved.Applications (Java™)Installing an applicationOptions in theDownloaded view: Install,Delete, View details,Settings, Help, and Exit.1 Press and select Extras→ Applications. Press to open the Downloaded viewwith a list of Java installation files saved in the c:\nokia\installs folder in your gamedeck.2 Scroll to an installation file and select Options→ Install.3 When the game deck asks whether to install or update the application, press Yes toproceed with installation.The .JAR file is required for installation. If it is missing, the game deck may ask you todownload it. If there is no access point defined for Applications, you will be asked toselect one. When you are downloading the JAR file, you may need to enter a user nameand password to access the server. You obtain these from the supplier or manufacturerof the application.Tip! Whilebrowsing, you candownload an installationfile and install it withoutclosing the connection.4 The game deck informs you when installation is complete.Applications main view• To start an application, scroll to it and press .• To uninstall an application, scroll to it and select Options→ Remove.Options in theApplications main view:Open, Remove, Update,Go to URL address, Viewdetails, Settings, Help,and Exit.• To start a network connection and to check if there is an update available for theapplication, scroll to it and select Options→ Update.• To start a network connection and to view extra information about the application,scroll to it and select Options→ Go to URL address, if available.• To view information such as the type, version number and the supplier or manufacturerof an application, scroll to it and select Options→ View details.
