If you invite someoneto a sharing session and the recipient’s device isturned off, is not within UMTS network coverage, ordoes not have Video sharing installed or person-to-person connections set up, the recipient does notknow that you are sending an invitation. However, youreceive an error message that the recipient cannotaccept the invitation.SettingsPerson-to-person connection settingsA person-to-person connection is also known as a SessionInitiation Protocol (SIP) connection. The SIP profilesettings must be configured in your device before you canuse Video sharing. Setting up a SIP profile allows you toestablish a live person-to-person connection to anothercompatible device. The SIP profile must also beestablished to receive a sharing session.Ask your network operator or service provider for the SIPprofile settings, and save them in your device. Yournetwork operator or service provider may send you thesettings over the air or give you a list of the neededparameters.If you know a recipient’s SIP address, you can enter it onyour contact card for that person. Open Contacts fromyour device main menu, and open the contact card (or starta new card for that person). Select Options > Add detail> Web address. Enter the SIP address in the formatsip:username@domainname (you can use an IP addressinstead of a domain name).Share live video and video clipsTo receive a sharing session, the recipient must installVideo sharing and configure the required settings on theirmobile device. You and the recipient must both beregistered to the service before you can start sharing.1 Select Options > Share video > Live or Clip.If you selected Clip, a list of video clips opens. Select avideo clip you want to share and Options > Sendinvitation.2 Select the SIP address of the recipient to which youwant to send the invitation from the contacts list.If the SIP address of the recipient is not available, entera SIP address.3 Sharing begins automatically when the recipientaccepts the invitation.4 Select Pause to pause the sharing session. SelectContinue to resume sharing. If sharing a video clip, youcan rewind and fast forward the clip.5 To end video sharing, select Stop or close the cameraslider. Video sharing also ends if the active voice callends.
