Maximum time is the maximumamount of time allowed by the network.Message sent as—Change this option only if you are surethat your message centre is able to convert text messagesinto these other formats. Contact your network operator.Preferred connection—You can send text messagesthrough the normal GSM network or through packet data,if supported by the network. See ’Connection settings’,p. 95.Reply via same ctr.—Select Yes, if you want the replymessage to be sent using the same text message centrenumber (network service).Add a new text message centre1 Select Message centres > Options > New msg. centre.2 Press , write a name for the message centre, andselect OK.3 Press and , and write the number of the textmessage centre. You receive the number from yourservice provider.4 Select OK.5 To use the new settings, go back to the settings view.Scroll to Msg. centre in use, and select the newmessage centre.Multimedia messagesSelect Messaging > Options > Settings > Multimediamessage.Image size—Define the size of the image in a multimediamessage. The options are Original (shown only when theMMS creation mode is set to Guided or Free), Small, andLarge. Select Original to increase the size of themultimedia message.MMS creation mode —If you select Guided, the deviceinforms you if you try to send a message that may not besupported by the recipient. Select Restricted; the deviceprevents you from sending messages that may not besupported.
