MessagingTo enter and send service requests (also known as USSDcommands), such as activation commands for networkservices, to your service provider, select Options > Servicecommand in the Messag. main view.Cell broadcast (network service) allows you to receivemessages on various topics, such as weather or trafficconditions, from your service provider. For available topicsand relevant topic numbers, contact your service provider.In the Messaging main view, select Options > Cellbroadcast. In the main view, you can see the status of atopic, a topic number, name, and whether it has beenflagged ( ) for follow-up.Cell broadcast messages cannot be received in UMTSnetworks. A packet data connection may prevent cellbroadcast reception.Write text• Press a number key ( — ) repeatedly until thedesired character appears. There are more charactersavailable for a number key than are printed on the key.• If the next letter is located on the same key as thepresent one, wait until the cursor appears (or pressto end the time-out period), and enter the letter.• To insert a space, press .
