Make calls55Starting a video call may take a while. Waiting for videoimage is shown. If the call is not successful (for example,video calls are not supported by the network, or thereceiving device is not compatible) you are asked if youwant to try a normal call or send a message instead.The video call is active when you see two video images, andhear the sound through the loudspeaker. The call recipientmay deny video sending ( ), in which case you hear thesound and may see a still image or a grey backgroundgraphic.Tip! To increase or decrease the volume during a call,scroll left or right.To change between showing video or hearing only sound,select Enable/Disable > Sending video, Sending audio, orSending audio & video.To zoom your own image, select Zoom in or Zoom out. Thezoom indicator is shown on the top of the display.To switch the places of the sent and received video imageson the display, select Change image order.Even if you have denied video sending during a video call,the call will still be charged as a video call. Check thepricing with your network operator or service provider.To end the video call, press .Video sharing (network service)Use Video sharing to send live video or a video clip fromyour mobile device to another compatible mobile deviceduring a voice call. Simply invite a recipient to view thelive video, or a video clip you want to share. Sharingbegins automatically when the recipient accepts theinvitation, and you activate the correct mode. See ‘Sharevideo’, p. 56.Video sharing requirementsBecause Video sharing requires a 3G Universal MobileTelecommunications System (UMTS) connection, yourability to use Video sharing depends on 3G networkavailability. Contact your service provider for questionsabout network availability and fees associated with usingthis application. To use Video sharing you must:• Ensure that Video sharing is installed on your NokiaN93.• Ensure that your device is set up for person-to-personconnections. See ‘Settings’, p.56.• Ensure you have an active UMTS connection and arewithin UMTS network coverage. See ‘Settings’, p. 56. Ifyou start the sharing session while you are withinUMTS network coverage and a handover to GSMoccurs, the sharing session is discontinued, but yourvoice call continues.
