When youactivate the offline profile, the connection to the cellularnetwork is turned off, as indicated by in the signalstrength indicator area. All radio frequency (RF) signals toand from the device to the cellular network are prevented.If you try to send messages using the cellular network,they are placed in the Outbox folder to be sent later.When the offline profile is active, you can use your devicewithout a SIM card.If the SIM card is not properly in place, the device starts inthe offline profile.Important: In the Offline profile you cannot make orreceive any calls, or use other features that require cellularnetwork coverage. Calls may still be possible to the officialemergency number programed into your device. To makecalls, you must first activate the phone function bychanging profiles. If the device has been locked, enter thelock code.When you have activated the offline profile, you can stilluse the wireless LAN, for example, to read your e-mail orbrowse on the internet. You can also use Bluetoothconnectivity while in the offline profile.
