Theweb browser on your phone candisplay WAP-based content.Your device may have somebookmarks loaded for sites notaffiliated with Nokia. Nokia does notwarrant or endorse these sites. If youchoose to access them, you shouldtake the same precautions, forsecurity and content, as you wouldwith any internet site.The security icon does not indicatethat the data transmission betweenthe gateway and the content server(or place where the requestedresource is stored) is secure. Theservice provider secures the datatransmission between the gatewayand the content server.■ Mobile internet accessBecause mobile internet content isdesigned to be viewed from yourphone, your wireless provider is nowyour mobile internet service provideras well.It is likely that your wireless providerhas created a home page and set upyour browser to go to this pagewhen you log on to the mobileinternet. Once at your serviceprovider’s home page, you may findlinks to a number of other sites.It should not be necessary tomanually configure the browser onyour phone. Normally this is done byyour wireless provider once you havesubscribed to the feature. Contactyour wireless provider if you haveproblems using the browser.■ Sign on to the mobileinternetAt the standby mode, select Menu >Minibrowser > Connect.After a brief pause, your phoneattempts to connect to a home page.If you receive an error message, yourphone may not be set up forbrowsing. Contact your wirelessprovider to make sure that yourphone is configured properly.
