If you do not confirman urgent message within 60 seconds, the system notifies the originatorthat the message was not delivered.When you receive an urgent message, perform the following step:Message list fullThe message list can store a maximum of 80 messages if a MEM card isinstalled; if the MEM card is full, the message “Storage full” appears, andthe system handles new messages according to the overwrite setting.You can configure how your handset handles new messages once themessage list is full:• if Overwrite is on, the handset deletes the oldest message before itstores the new message.• if Overwrite is off (this is the default configuration), the handset doesone of the following:— for urgent messages, the handset shows the message but doesnot store it.— for normal messages, the handset rejects the message.For more information about configuring Overwrite, see “Configuring theOverwrite option” (page 124).1.
