42 WLAN Handset configurationTo enable the handsets to operate on the WLAN system, perform thefollowing tasks:1. Configure the wireless handset. For more information, see "Handsetconfiguration" (page 42) and "Configuration Cradle for the WLANHandset 2210/2211/2212" (page 48) and "Handset Administration Toolfor the WLAN Handset 6120/6140" (page 58).2. Program the features on the wireless handset. For more information,see "WLAN Handset 2210/2211/2212" (page 119) and "WLAN Handset6120/6140" (page 123).3. Test the wireless handset. For more information, see "Wireless handsettesting" (page 131).Note: The handsets require special configuration to enable them tocommunicate with the optional WLAN Application Gateway 2246.Ensure that these settings are correct. See "Open and use the Adminmenu on the handset" (page 43).The Configuration Cradle is an accessory to the handsets. Use theConfiguration Cradle to create and save configuration snapshots, save theconfiguration from an already-programmed handset, and write a savedconfiguration to a handset. For more information, see "Configuration Cradlefor the WLAN Handset 2210/2211/2212" (page 48).The Handset Administration Tool is a software utility for the WLAN Handsets6120/6140. Use the Handset Administration Tool to configure options onthe Admin Menu and the Config Menu, to assist with troubleshooting, andto upgrade the handset firmware.
