The power supplies share the load of providingpower to the VPN Router 5000. If one power supply fails, the second one providesall the power required by the gateway.The VPN Router 5000E complies with the Restriction of Use of CertainHazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements. The VPN Router 5000E uses a500-watt power supply because production of the 350-watt power supply hasended. The VPN Router 5000 supports only the 350-watt power supply and theVPN Router 5000E supports only the 500-watt power supply.Warning: The VPN Router 5000 weighs approximately 50 pounds (23kg). You must use two people to install the gateway in the equipmentrack.
