Password reset 19The GLISTEN feature is only available when enabled, and when assignedto the set through SERVORD. When this feature is not available, it doesnot show up in the options menu lists. In addition, because handsfreeand group listening cannot be in activation at the same time, the grouplistening enable feature is not in the options list if there is an active callwith handsfree enabled.In order to use the GLISTEN feature, the user must first enable the featureby using the Options mode. When the feature is enabled, the handsfreekey can turn the speaker on or off. To turn off the speaker, the user mustpress the Handsfree key a second time. The speaker only turns on if thehandset is off-hook. The speaker automatically turns off when the handsetis placed on-hook.To activate handsfree when group listening is in use, the user must pressand hold the Handsfree key, place the handset on-hook, and release thehandsfree key. Alternately, the user can place the call on hold by pressingthe Hold key, place the handset on-hook, followed by pressing the DN keythat has the held call.You must enable handsfree for group listening to be enabled.InteractionsGLISTEN is assignable to M3902, M3903, and M3904 sets usingSERVORD commands NEW, NEWACD, ADD, and EST. Use theSERVORD CHF command to toggle the status of the option to an existingset previously listed.
