Oki Data CONFIDENTIAL43605601TH Rev. 1 184 /Confirmation Items Confirmation Tasks Action at NG(3-2-4) Check the connectionCheck the cableconnection.By visual inspection, please check whetherincompletely connection and oblique insertion ofconnector or defective cable assembly existsConnect the cablenormally.Replacethe cable with anew one.Paper feed motor cable Check whether wire gnawing occurred duringassembly of equipment.Pull the HOP connector of main board (M32 PCB) out,check the followings on the cable connector.Short circuit between 1pin-FGShort circuit between 2pin-FGShort circuit between 3pin-FGShort circuit between 4pin-FGReplace the cablewith a new one,and reassemblecorrectly.Paper feed motor. Pull the HOP connector of the main board (M32PCB) out, check whether the resistance valuesbetween 1pin-2pin and 3pin-4pin are about 3.5Wor4.4Wrespectively on the cable side.Replace the paperfeed motor with anew one.(3-2--5) Check the solenoid operationPaper feed solenoid By using the motor clutch test function of themaintenance utility, check whether paper feed solenoidoperates normally.Remove the sheet metal of the rightside in order to check whether the solenoid can beseen.Replace the mainboard (M32 PCB)or paper feedsolenoid with newone.Paper feed solenoid Check whether the parts that may disturb the operationof moving parts of the solenoid exist (cable etc).Assemble normally.(3-2--6) Check the connectionPaper feed solenoid cable Check the cable connection.By visual inspection,please check whether incompletely connection andoblique insertion of connector or defective cableassembly exists.Connect the cablenormally.Replacethe cable with anew one.Paper feed solenoid cable Check whether wire gnawing occurred duringassembly of equipment.Pull the HSOL connector of main board (M32 PCB)out, check the followings on the cable side.Short circuit between 1pin-FGCheck whether the resistance value between 1pin-2pinis about 82W with pulling the HSOL connector out.Replace the cablewith a new one.Replace thesolenoid ASSYwith a new one,and reassemblecorrectly.
